![]() Dogs love yogurt. My son’s dog JJ is crazy about his yogurt snack. But the type of yogurt must be the correct yogurt.
Feed your dog either goat yogurt which is a pasteurized yogurt or raw coconut yogurt. JJ loves both types. If you give your dog goat yogurt, then make sure to open a digestive enzymes capsule, pour the powder into the yogurt and mix. I recommend goat yogurt because it is an alkaline food high in minerals and antioxidants vs cow yogurt which is an acidic dairy food. Sometimes I add raw blueberries to the goat yogurt as blueberries is an acidic fruit and goes well with a yogurt meal. I consider yogurt a snack meal not a main meal. I also don’t give JJ yogurt every day but every other day. Donia Alalawi Seattle, WA |

My dog, Tattoo, on my sister's deck last summer in Carmel Ca. Still taking all his supplements and eating diet you recommended for him, plus freeze dried organ meats from True Dog. He turned 6 May 2019. He is doing very well and loves Bass Lake, Ca. Thank you soooooo much for saving his life with your Colitis advice, diet and supplements. He just stays thin but runs and plays and is very devoted.

Words cannot describe how grateful we are for you.
Our treasured 13 years old female dog named IRO was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, arthritis and IBS. She was so sick and weak for so long suffering from anorexia, nausea, vomiting, urine incontinence and constipation.
We took her to several vet specialists but no one was able to make her feel better.
Last month her health conditions declined so seriously that we were praying for a miracle to happen. When hope was lost, God brought you into our lives. Everything started when our beloved friend Kiki told us about you and your web site!!
You helped IRO when she really needed to be helped.
Thank you for answering all of our questions by e-mail or over the phone!
We only had to follow step by step your valued suggestions for restoring and maintain our IRO’s health by changing her to an organic whole food diet and giving her the whole food supplements (probiotics and enzymes) that she adores.
Since the very first day we started to change her diet we saw Iro feeling better, more comfort and relieved. Giving to her the supplements we saw a huge improvement in her health.
Now after almost three weeks under your valued directions IRO has NO symptoms and NO suffering anymore! Her energy level is high; she is healthier and happier than ever. She adores her food and her coat is so bright and soft! She is active again, she enjoys walking and running outside every day and we share wonderful and precious moments together!
Because of you our Iro is re-born. We will continue having IRO under your care because we have great confidence in you as a person and your abilities. You are the best and we feel forever grateful for ALL you have done for our IRO.
With hugs for you,

I'm learning more and more from your videos on YouTube. Thank you so much for your selfless help. I am so encouraged and hopeful for Sam now. I don't know that I can put into words the despair that has disappeared in these last few weeks as my eyes have been opened by you to the incredible benefits and healing power of good nutrition. I am so convinced in just this short time of the truth and sincerity of you and your fellow teachers of the importance of educating ourselves and spreading the truth about good natural, organic, raw food.
As Sam and I get more used to the changes in her diet I know things will get easier. I am super surprised she has not had a more intense healing process so far. I know if it comes though not to be surprised. Once we're in a routine I'm going to overhaul my own diet and start using the supplements too.
The science around enzymes and processed foods and our chronic diseases is fascinating and life changing. Thank you so much for caring and giving my four legged friend a better life.
I thank God for you. Blessings to you this Easter time.

This is my boy Sonnie, we live in Brooklyn, NY. I really don’t know where he would be if I didn’t come across Donia. He suffered with colitis/IBS after his gastroplexy procedure when his stomach rotated almost 3 years ago. The procedure saved his life but he developed colitis really bad.
Sonnie had constant diarrhea, vomiting and terrible loud gurgling gas noises in his belly from being so upset. He was constantly on antibiotics and that had to stop. He was unable to digest even the most blandest of GI dog foods and my vet who is one of the best in my book but he too was at a loss as well advising me that an endoscopy and colonoscopy needs to be done to get the bottom of what was going on. Even the probiotics he was on didn't help at all.
In Feb of this year after crying my eyes out, asking God and the universe to send me an answer to help my furbaby, my prayers were answered in the name of an earth angel named Donia. I came across her website and called her in Seattle on a Sunday and began the conversation with apologizing for bothering her on a Sunday. To my pleasant surprised, she was so sweet and responded with, “it wasn't a bother at all”. She gave me a few simple changes like adding pureed zucchini and celery into his food which I did right away and the very next day no more mucousy poop (sorry to be gross), then she gave me a tea recipe which is really a wonder broth. The minute his belly is upset, I always have it on hand, I give him 2 syringe fulls and immediately his stomach is settled and better. Since Feb, I've been working with Donia's guidance and have him on a semi raw protein, veggie and fruit diet with added supplements and probiotics. He hasn’t had any issues of any kind since then.
I encourage anyone that has a furbaby with stomach issues to reach out to her....she was and is truly God sent. I'm now working with her to get my body more alkaline.

Emmie is doing really well ! She's lively, runs, jumps, just like she used to. LOVES THE SNOW !!!! She's still very picky concerning what she eats, but I can now bury foods that are "good" for her in her meals and she consumes every drop ! I can't believe the change in her! I almost would love to take her back to the vet to show her off !!!!! Had she stayed on the meds the vet suggested, she would not have made Xmas, which I know I mentioned to you. It's February and she's doing very well !!!!

My dog Coco was already sick when we adopted him from a dog shelter (he was only 10 weeks old). He vomited more than 10 times on the first day and we had to take him to the emergency veterinarian hospital.
He was taking antibiotic almost every other week because of severe vomiting and diarrhea. Coco was diagnosed with IBS and colitis and my vet really didn't know what to do…
When he was about 8 months old I found Donia's natural healing methods on the internet. Believe it or not, Coco got better within 2 weeks! I was not even feeding him any organic supplements at the point but Coco stopped vomiting and having diarrhea was gone… Amazing!
I don't have to cry in the middle of the night to see him suffer anymore. I feel so much relief that I don't have to go through this anymore.
Now Coco is enjoying his healthy life with his family everyday.
I have so much gratitude for Donia for saving Coco's life…
Thank you so much!!!

My children brought Charlie home at 2 1/2 months old. He came to us directly from the Pet Store and no one suspected how sick he would become very soon and for such a long time.
After 18 days of being home he began vomiting almost every day while producing loose stools full of blood and mucus. The Vet diagnosed him with Erlychia (disease produce from tick bites), gave him antibiotics for a month but when we stopped everything came back with stronger symptoms along with great pain.
Every episode Charlie had he would always be put on antibiotics, stomach settling drugs, motility meds, anti acids, all done while being poked with needles for blood tests and fluid therapy due to his dehydration caused from extreme vomiting. Nothing really worked and after a few days the pain, the vomiting and the bloody diarrhea would come back over and over again. Eventually, one new Vet came to the city and finally diagnosed Charlie with a form of IBD and severe Colitis. He was put on a steroid drug for 4 months, which gave him days free of symptoms but put Charlie at risk for other health issues on the long run.
After endless nights of searching and writing for help on the web, I came across your website and you responded with great help and advice on diet and natural supplements that have helped Charlie get off the steroid and finally began to see the light on his life!!
Charlie is now a happy, curious dog with a great love for life, full of energy and appetite with no more days of pain and discomfort.
Our forever gratitude for your endless advice and support. Thank you always for always being there for us when we needed you the most.

Buddy Boy
I adopted Buddy Boy, a large Yorkie, who was being neglected consistently, fed intermittently and ignored medically and nutritionally.
He was eventually diagnosed with IBD. After I had him a couple of months, his health began to deteriorate and he vomited almost daily while also producing stools full of blood and mucous. I took him to three different veterinarians (including my own of 15 years and a holistic gal) and even a specialist where poor Buddy was prodded and poked, given blood tests, ultrasounds and way too many rounds of antibiotics, anti-motility meds, stomach settling OTC drugs over the next few months and still his symptoms persisted. Without fail, each and every time I tried to stop the antibiotic the diarrhea would return with a vengeance.
It was just about at this time, that I put Buddy's plight on an internet dog chat list and was referred to you for nutritional consultation.
I need to tell you that it didn't take long for me to see some wonderful changes in his morning interest in food, his stools and his cessation of vomiting. I was truly thrilled and stunned at how fast I started to see these improvements in Buddy and still see to this day. As long as I, his human, am vigilant, continue following the plan you mapped out for him, continue to give him his probiotics, digestive enzymes, the organic micro algae and food based anti-oxidants, I know that Buddy will live out his life almost IBD symptom free.
My gratitude for your tireless counseling OF ME is not measurable. Buddy is now a playful, bundle of energy who never stops being interested in his surroundings and sometimes is even naughty when there is no immediate outlet for his energy!!!

JJ when I adopted him
I adopted JJ December of 2011 from Second Chance Rescue Group. JJ was found weak, shedding his hair to the point that half of his back hardly had any hair left, impacted anal glands, suffering from flea allergies and IBS (couldn't keep his foods down, vomits constantly and diarreah).
I wanted to help him holistically and thank God I came across your website. You taught me how to feed him a real food diet and recommended your organic food based supplements. Now it is a year later and JJ looks like a brand new dog. He gained weight, his coat is amazingly soft and long, he no longer has any anal gland problems (he doesn't scoot any more), has no fleas, never itches, doesn't vomit, and his elimination is perfect.

On August 10, 1995 I heard barking down by the creek while I was in my arena working my horses. I rode down to see what was going on and I found a little dog on the other side of the creek. I could see that she was tangled up with a sapling tree. When I got over to her, I saw that someone had tied a twine rope around her neck, which she had probably chewed from its anchor. The rope was six feet long and wrapped around this tree so that the dog's neck was right up against the tree and two of her legs were tangled up in it. She literally couldn't move except to struggle.
I managed to get her loose and carry her up to the house. I could see that the rope had cut into her neck almost a half-inch deep all the way around; her neck was just laid open. She was skin and bones, weighing 13.3 pounds. It turned out that she had demodex tic mange over 40 percent of her body. Her ears and eyes were totally bald and her legs and paws had red sores all over them. She was pretty pathetic.
The next day, the vet stitched her up and gave her a dip for the mange. I fed her everything available from New Earth: three or four Bluegreen Body, one or two acidophilus, and enzymes every time she ate (which was often). The vet told me that it would probably take four or five dips to get rid of the mange. Five days later her coat was already shiny and the hair was starting to grow back around her ears and eyes.
In ten days she was looking great. I cut her back to two Bluegreen Body, one acidophilus, and enzymes. She got her second dip and that took care of the mange totally. I figured that her ability to fight off the mange so quickly was a sign of her strength coming back.
After seven weeks she was up to 25 pounds and she had grown five inches at the shoulder. We named her Bee Gee. She is a mixed breed estimated to be six to seven months old at the time of the final photo.

Hi...my name is Pippen. My mom adopted me when she found me wandering in the streets by myself back in 1993. She put posters everywhere so my real parents could call, but no one called. So, she decided to be my new mommy. The vet who examined me said I was 7 years old. I was very sick then. I had a restricted trachea, worms in my stomach and I couldn’t hold any foods down.
My mom changed my diet and started feeding me raw foods and she added whole food supplements to my diet. Soon, I became healthy
and I never went back to the vet again.

Pippen and Donia
I’m now 19 years old as you can see from my white hair (see photo to the right). I don’t see or hear as well and I’m a bit confused at times. But, I have no arthritis, and I enjoy going for long walks with my mommy every day. I have a great appetite and I always lick my plate clean. I have complete control over my bladder and my bowel movements are excellent (no diapers for me). Hey, at 19 years old, I can’t complain.
I think without the diet and supplements my mommy gives me everyday, I would have gone to doggy heaven a long time ago. So, I’m thankful for the great diet I get and the food supplements my mommy sprinkles over my
foods every day.
I’m a good example for the fact that with a good diet and good
supplements, we dogs can and do live long and healthy lives.

As you know, Dusty came to us with severe parasites, and infections. Quite frankly, we didn’t think that he would make it. He couldn’t tolerate any dog foods or anything else. You thoroughly helped me understand why.
Dusty is finally gaining back his weight since I started him on the whole food supplements, the full spectrum of probiotics, and the super digestive enzymes. You said they would work. My 2 other dogs are now on the same formula. Both are senior dogs and are perkier then I have ever seen them in a long time. You are a God send for what you have done for us.

When I contacted you a few months ago my dog had many health issues. You provided extremely helpful information. Well, it has been a long road, but Luna has had her first clear urine test - no multiple and large struvites. She has not had a urinary/kidney infection since I started her on the diet. Her ear infections have greatly been reduced and she is more active. She loves her home-made food, eats a greater variety of foods, and still quickly consumes her veggie juice with every meal. We have come a long way from her kidneys nearly shutting down to a healthy and much happier dog. We are still buying the specific supplements that you recommended, including the micro algae with probiotics and enzymes, and I am even regularly taking the supplements myself and feeling great.
I cannot thank you enough for your knowledge and generosity with your time in providing me what I needed to help my friend. I greatly appreciate you keeping in touch with me and all of your wonderful advice. You have made a huge difference in our lives and I cannot thank you enough.

Last Saturday May 12th, 2012 we took Luna for a check up with her Vet, and the result is: She is CLEAR and in REMISSION of cancer!!!
All the test she had were clear.
She is an amazing MIRACLE LITTLE DOG, after almost a year on the 17 of May, 2011 she had that tremendous operation that lasted 6 1/2 hours, she died during and after the operation 4 times, the surgeon removed 2 cancerous tumors from her liver and one from her lung all from her left side.
No one believed she would survive but she has an enormous desire for living and she loves her food.
And since I met you over the Internet and you told me about your fantastic Organic wholefood supplements, it changed her life. She has really improved with her change of diet. Her vet is very happy with the way everything is working for her. The diet you adviced changed her into the MIRACLE LITTLE DOG that she is today.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your advice and your help.

You have been helping me with Bitsy to get her back to being healthy. Bitsy's changes have been remarkable. She was at the brink of being put on life-long meds for her liver, kidneys, blood pressure, and glands when we got back home from a trip in October of 2012. The vet was getting ready to write her off. They were about to tranquilize her for her to have extensive testing.
Before they did that, I wanted to give Bitsy one last shot to get healthy through lifestyle and diet. So I found you on the Internet, and you have helped counsel me (for free) to get Bitsy on a super healthy diet including probiotics and algae. In just 2 months, Bitsy has completely changed. She has more energy than I have seen since she was 3 years old (she is 12 now). She has lost so much weight that she is boney now. (she has been heavy since she was 2). She is actually hungry for her food- where she used to sniff it and walk away and go to sleep. Now she plays like a puppy and literally sprints down the block for her walks - without panting. She used to pant just from walking. Her teeth look AMAZING- super white and clean. I never brush her teeth. I can go on and on.
I can't thank you enough!!! You have changed our lives!

Zeus is a severe cross breed puppy that was rescued from the streets with his mother. He was about 3 months old when I got him and fed him Vets Choice for puppies and home cooked rice with chicken skins and liver as he was badly skinny- each bone in his body was visible.
4 Weeks ago he started limping and I took him to the vet and he was sent home with a 2 week course of Rimodyl. 10 days later he cried of pain and when they took x-rays and found that his right hip couldn't go back into the socket. 2 days later he had the femur head amputated as he is too young for a total hip replacement.
He is still having pain, and the vet said we cannot guarantee 100% recovery and treatment is a long term process.
Oh, yes, his other hip is also badly displaciac and may also need surgery at some stage.
Could you please assist with this poor soul who I love so much as he still has a stunning personality and as out of proportion as he seems, is liked immediately by every person that meets him.
We would dearly appreciate your input as I, and Zeus, and his sister Zoe, is very tired of all this.

I Want to tell you that Zeus is so well - he jumped onto a wall of over 1 meter a few days back and he even jumps into the air lately to catch his balls. His joints were doing brilliantly throughout our winter and we had some very cold days. I did make them all some winter jackets as he, in particular is very bony and tend to get cold easily, but he has such strong defined muscles. He is JUST SO beautiful for me.
Thank you again for all the advice about his diet and the organic whole food supplements you recommended which I still give him faithfully every day especially his enzymes - his joints seem to be in very much a perfect condition.

In August of 1994 Jessie was almost 2 years old and had suffered from skin problems, for which we sought treatment repeatedly. Jessie seemed to be allergic to many things. The result was a bad rash and hot spots.
We started feeding Jessie the organic Bluegreen Body algae. As you can see from the before and after photos, her skin and coat looks gorgeous, she shed less, and her foot pads softened. Renna Moss Sanger, TX * |
Your generosity when my dog was so sick will always be cherished. No one has ever been kind enough, and taken the time to help me before I found you. The work that you are doing for pets and pet owners is un-precedented. I can’t thank you enough for what you have done. You are a “super hero” to dogs!

My name is Mugsy Robinson. I'm an 11 year old male Maltese. I have been my mommy's best friend and companion since I was 6 months old. My mommy fed me dried food for almost 10 years (she didn't know any better). She became really sick with eczema and other health issues and found our Donia by searching and searching how to heal herself the natural way. She got much better after listening and following Donia's suggestions.
In August 2012, I started to cough/hack non-stop for days. I have done that in the past, but it went away. In the past my mommy tried giving me honey, couch syrups etc.. Well, in 2012 I would not stop hacking for almost 7 days. She rushed me to the vet and after some X rays, I was diagnosed with a collapsed trachea. My mom cried and cried all the way home as she was hugging me tight. She was told I had days or months to live depending on how my trachea would hold. She emailed Donia that same night, and our wonderful friend replied with my new diet.
It's been a year now and my health has improved so much. I feel younger and still like to run in big circles chasing my tail. She gives me steamed organic chicken and vegetables. I love sweet potatoes, red onion and red bell peppers are by far my favorite. I'm still very picky and at times I fight my mommy with the fruits and vegetables she gives me. Some how she manages to give them to me one way or another. She can't always afford the supplements but when she can, she gives me enzymes, organic micro algae and probiotics.
If I could only talk, I would tell all doggies and their parents to refuse buying man made food. Nothing goods comes from it. There is nothing better than whole foods and good quality supplements.
She no longer has to put any flea medicine on my skin. I don't have fleas anymore, since I started to eat whole foods, the fleas ran out of my fur. I no longer itch non-stop because of it.
We have not been to the vet at all this year. I had only one small coughing episode, but it only lasted two days. I haven't had another X ray on my trachea but for now, I feel really good.
Thank you for reading my little doggie story, I am a good example of how a doggie can sure benefit of a whole food diet along with good quality supplements.

I consulted with you back in July 2014 about my dog Jack's colitis. He is a 12 year old weimaraner that was having really bad colitis outbursts. I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your invaluable advice. He has not had an episode of colitis since. I don't even know what to say. I was told that colitis is something you live with but it's just gone. Unfortunately, we discovered two malignant tumors on his side and his hind paw. The good thing was that they were early and we had them removed. I was so worried about the effects the anesthesia would have on an old dog. But with the nutrition, enzymes, probiotics and algae you recommended, he had one semi soft stool and was up and about the next day. Like nothing!! The vet did blood tests on him before the surgery and she was in awe. She said his blood test were of a much younger dog.
God bless you!! Thank you so, so much. I love my little guy and will continue with the supplements and nutrition. I wonder if I can take them too…J
Forever grateful

Spike has improved so much. It's night and day. I think we still have some healing to do but he is well on his way thanks to these small changes in his diet. The supplements you have recommended actually saved his life. Really, the meds the vets were giving him were literally killing him. His body so rejected everything including food. Now he can eat without vomiting it up or pooping it out. No more gas or bloating. Starting to gain weight again and his attitude is good. Really, he would have died if I hadn't found out your website and learned about these wonderful products and followed yous advice on his diet. Thank you so very much.

Our dog Mia, (two year old Australian Cattle Dog) had just spent a blissful month of absolute freedom on Megan's (my wife) family farm in Meaford, Ontario. With access to Georgian Bay, she could go swimming any time she wanted, (and did often!) and most importantly she had the constant companionship of at least three and sometimes up to six other family dogs).
But alas, Mia's blissful vacation came to an abrupt end and she was in the station wagon with the rest of us, driving home to Massachusetts. The past two summers, after similar trips, we noticed that Mia would appear to be very depressed for about a week, then resume her normal cheerful behavior. We assumed this to be a normal and natural result of being so quickly separated from her six other much-loved doggie companions.
This time home, however, there was an additional complication that had never happened before. (Sorry, I am about to be a little graphic here.) After two days of very loose stools and soiling inside the house, (which had never happened before) I noticed some bright red blood mixed in with the watery stools (end of graphic part). Mia was straining each time she had to go, and her energy was very low, and she was very withdrawn.
I am familiar with humans having these kinds of symptoms, and know exactly what to do and recommend, but had never experienced this with any of our many family dogs through the years. So, what did I do? I called my good friend Carol Bennett. After making a contingency plan (to go to the Vet!) in the unlikely event that Mia had simply swallowed a jagged bone, or other sharp object, Carol suggested that it might simply be a form of colitis (inflammation of the large intestine) which of course I was quite familiar with in humans, having experienced this myself, thirty years ago.
Carol suggested that we feed Mia only white rice and micro algae and 2 to 5 capsules of bifidus a day. I cooked up some short grain brown rice, (my famous rice cream cereal recipe) and fed this to Mia, twice a day and mixed in 2 capsules of micro algae, and 2 capsules of bifidus per bowl of porridge. Within 12 hours, I could see the light come back into Mia's eyes. Within 24 hours, she had a somewhat normal bowel movement, and her energy was almost normal.
Within 48 hours everything was back to normal.
Dogs, cats, brothers, sisters, neighbors, friends, strangers. We all need at the very least some micro algae and probiotics every single day, and we need to remind each other of the medicinal value and healing qualities of simple organic whole foods supplements. These are just two of the habits that nourish us best.
